- At the Paris Opera for Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, the ballets Sylvia, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Joyaux, a Roland Petit programme,
- at the Liceu in Barcelona for Schoenberg’s Lulu , Manon by Massenet with Rolando Villazon and Natalie Dessay, Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which won a Diapason d’Or and the Orphée d’Or of the Académie du Disque Lyrique (photo 1),
- in Berlin, with Nicolai Lugansky, at the Teldex Studio (photo 2),
- at the Opéra Comique in Paris, for Debussy’s Pelleas conducted by Sir J.E.Gardiner
